Still figuring this out.
My first try I used 1/2 tsp in a recipe for bread that uses 2 lbs of flour (makes three loaves). I still ended up with a little mold after a week, but not as severe as without. I've tried 1 tsp and so far that seems to have worked better, (Down to the last slice after a week and no sign of mold). It has no effect on the taste of the bread.I was concerned about the paper bag packaging, but it's actually got an inner plastic bag with a ziplock seal, which keeps the powder clean and dry. Don't cut the bag, just pull off the perforated strip to expose the zipper. This quantity will last me an absurdly long time, unless I need to take the expiration date seriously.About the only ding I have against this is the lack of any kind of guidance about how much to use or how to use it.

Can’t find the right proportion for effect.
So far I can’t determine how much to use in my homemade bread to prevent mold forming within 3 days. Any suggestions?? I do live in the Deep South where humidity rules.

Mold grew on products in less than a week
I make and sell baked goods - mold grew on the products I had sold in less than a week. I do not recommend using this as a preservative.
