MUMTOP Outdoor Thermometer, 42 Inch Metal Owl Garden Stake Outside Wall Thermometer for Patio, Yard and Garden

Cutest owl EVER, and the thermometer is large enough to see from inside the house. Has a hanger on the back in case you don't want to mount it on the stick. I just LOVE this thing! It does seem fairly delicate though, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up to the elements. But I didn't even need to adjust the temp calibration, as it was dead-on correct as soon as I hung it outside. I really hope it lasts! :)

I'm kinda amazed at how durable and accurate it is. We had some really nasty weather recently, rain, high winds and this thermometer had no trouble. To be honest it doesn't look waterproof so I'll be keeping an eye on it.It also looks nice. I keep it right in front of my bedroom window on the stake so I can see the outside temp as soon as I wake up.

I set this outside my window and can see what the weather is at our house. That is until the sun shines and of course the temp is distorted. Trying to figure out how to shade this little guy now.

I have adjusted the temp several times and I will look the next day and the temp will be off by 20 degrees. It’s cute but doesn’t work.

Nice thermometer but its hook to hang it up on the back is placed in an odd angle so it hangs crooked. If it is on the stand it looks better.

It looks nice and it’s sturdy but it doesn’t show temperature accurately.

This owl thermometer is so cute, I just love it!Other reviews have mentioned the mounting hook is off-center, which I agree is weird, however I just hung the nail off-center to account for that and surprisingly it hung pretty straight.I did pop another nail around the bottom to just keep it hanging straight but I'm not sure that was necessary.I like that it's versatile and can be wall-mounted or stake-mounted in the ground. I chose to wall-mount it and it is a gorgeous part of the décor on my deck, very happy with it.That being said, it did not come with any directions on how to calibrate the temperature, so I looked up the product listing again and saw there it said it would self-adjust within a few hours.Of course, before I looked that up I had already manually adjusted it, ha! A few hours went by and it hadn't moved even though the temperature had changed; so I re-adjusted it again and it seems to be keeping up on its own now.Two thumbs up on, it's just so nice looking, I'm very happy with it!EDIT: After several adjustments it really was not ever self adjusting, the temp display just kept staying where I'd last set it. But after reading one of the reviews here where someone said they slapped it out of frustration and it started working...I tried it, ha! Yes, I literally gave it a light slap on the face of the thermometer with my open hand (not hard) and believe it or not, it worked! Now it is consistently adjusting as the temperature changes and is accurate with in 1-2 degrees!

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box is the thermometer was welded and crooked. Doesn’t seem hard to pay attention to that, but maybe they pump them out so fast it doesn’t matter.It’s a cute item though, so I’m gonna try and exchange it and see if I get a good one
