The item was delivered broken
This is not really a storage box that can sustain several vinyl records stored within. It is very fragile, constantly disassembles itself and, in general, it is a very delicate item that should not be advertised the way it is

Not great quality
Cheap and joins don't meet up. For the price not good. Unfortunately because you build it, you won't be able to return in. Gone in the trash.

Cheap price cheap build quality.
Cheap material and build quality. Not recommended. Had ordered two but opted to not even put together the second one. Just threw them away. Will look for something better on Amazon. Thanks.

They work pretty well… for the most part.
I have purchased 6 of these so far, and I really haven’t had any issues with them, aside from one box that I purchased recently. The issue that kept happening with that unit was: during assembly, there’s these sticker strips that you have to peel off to reveal the glue underneath thats used to hold the plates together. However, this particular unit kept having an issue where the glue strip would actually peel off when pulling the sticker off, which isn’t supposed to happen. Thankfully, being that I’ve worked with this product multiple times before, I was able to identify the issue and place the glue strip back on the side of the plate, and they work just fine. However, I bring this issue up because someone who has never worked with this product before might have this happen to them as well, and may not know what the issue is, so if you’re looking to buy this product, keep this possibility in mind. That being said, I will still continue to buy this product as I expand my record collection. They really don’t give me any major problems aside from one time, and it was an easy fix. They’re also a little more pricey than they should be for some recycled paper, but nevertheless, still a decent product that I will continue to buy.P.S. I’ve seen one customer review this product with a negative one star score saying that it wouldn’t hold together even with the glue strip, however, the customer wasn’t even using the back plate that the unit comes with. YOU MUST USE THE BACK PLATE for this item to work properly, otherwise the glue will not have enough strength to hold the side plates as you try to lean records against them. Just wanted to add that just in case someone tries doing that after reading this.

Actually Good
I have bought this product a number of times over the past few years. It is not the most solid material on earth, but there is very little competition if this is the kind of record storage you are looking for. The Vario cubes sold by the Container Store are much more solid, but they do not currently seem to be available in most colors, suggesting they have gone out of production. Also, the price has gone up. IKEAs alternative is cheaper, but it has a thin back. I am not sure the savings here is worth it.What I do notice is that the fit and straightness of the components is better than in the past. Some units had boards that were noticeably warped and hard to fit solidly together. Also, the instructions are improved and now recommend using glue on the dowels. I did that plus put a few spots of wood glue at a few contact points between the boards and the results were very encouraging. Your experience may vary, but these turned out be just what I needed.

Good overall
I like the piece and I will purchase another. The only issue is that it's held together by wooden pegs and 3m sticky tape so eventually I can see it falling apart. To remedy that I plan to just use a dab of wood glue in both sides of the holes that the pegs go in and that will do it.

awesome record storage cube
i was skeptical about it being made out of recycled paper/cardboard. It’s quite sturdy. i sat on it after assembly just to make sure that the adhesive sticks (the adhesive isn’t that great, but it seems to work just fine). i saw a few comments about the instructions being confusing. you just put it together starting with the bottom, sides, then the top (ikea furniture can get a lot more complicated than this).fits all of my records. i like that you can store things on top. i have limited space, so any extra storage is well-received. i replaced one of those crates with this one. i like this better than the crate.

Really Nice
Very easy to assemble. They seem very sturdy once everything is together. Looks really good with my setup. Would and probably will buy again.
