PA Coconut Cream- 3 pack Pure Creamed Coconut

I wish I could get this nearby instead of ordering online, because it is great for pretty much any dish that calls for coconut milk or cream.

Just get it! This coconut cream adds great flavor to any dish. It does taste as close as you can get to fresh coconut cream and does not have an after taste or burnt taste. It does have a little oil in the bag, which should be expected.

We were looking for block coconut, and I had never seen solidified coconut before. This was exactly what I wanted and tasted amazing in a Korma recipe. Highly recommend!

We make curry every week and this definitely is the ticket! Nice thick sauce with wonderful coconut flavor!

I've given this product a one star in case you, like me, think it is something it's not. I purchased this product to enliven my coconut cream pies for which I'm famous amongst my family and friends. First of all, this package is less coconut ( less than 5%) and more the cream component ( Yes, I know it is labeled Creamed Coconut but the description says it is good for pies so I inferred there would be a greater percentage of coconut which would be expected for making a coconut cream pie). Secondly, it was amazingly tasteless. I've eaten coconut fresh off the tree while in the Tropics many times and that natural coconut was far sweeter and infinitely more flavorful than this. So what you're getting here, if you're a pie maker, is tasteless cream with a little bit of coconut. I should add that I did try adding a lot of sugar to make this a usable component for my coconut cream pies but it was to no avail, I ended up with a sweet but still tasteless product.
