Works great, as long as you have the tools to set it up properly
This made drilling a 3 inch hole in concrete a cinch, took absolutely no effort at all. A few words about assembly...the carriage section comes assembled backwards on the rail so as to better fit in the box, so you'll need to take it off yourself with a 3/4" wrench and reassemble the right way...also you'll need to figure out for yourself where the handle, and ceiling binding bolt go (it's pretty obvious). Also know that you need to have at least a 5/8" wedge anchor AND a hammer drill with a 5/8" masonry bit to be able to set this up properly, and you're good to go. And remeber you'll most likely want to remove or hide the wedge anchor afterwards, but I won't go into that here.

Great drill, well worth the money!
I am always sceptical of buying off brand name tools. I decided to purchase the bluerock core drill because of the very competitive price point and can say I made a good choice. I used the drill yesterday to core (5) 2" holes 5" deep. The drill performed perfectly. The bit drilled a super clean professional hole very quickly on the speed setting 2. The only negative thing I can say about this product is that the metal hose clamps for the water supply line come loose. Make sure you tighten them down good. I recieved a very wet crotch due to a loose clamp.

Underpowered and couldn’t core 2.5” holes for me in concrete retaining wall
Tried to use it to core 2 1/2 inch walls into a concrete retaining wall. It kept jamming up even though it was in the stand that I bought with it. All in all I would not recommend it or buy it again

Great add on
Wow, what a joy compared to holding by hand. Have only drilled one 3 inch hole so far but went thru 17 inches of old concrete full of hard river rock without any issues

Quality Guide for Core Drill.
The guide is made very well. Except for ONE problem. The STOP bolt is way too high up and if you have more than 8 inches of concrete, you have to take the bolt out. The handle is dumb and should've been assembled. No instructions SUCKED. But not brain surgery. Any monkey can figure this out. The bolts that hold the base are 3/4" and make it easy to level.I didnt like it when the 17" core bit that i purchased was only capable of drilling less than half it's potential, due to a stupid bolt STOP put in the wrong spot on the guide rail. So... instead of messing with it, i took the drill off and used it by hand. I do like this guide... the Blue Rock core drill fit perfect. I will buy another if needed. It made core drilling a breeze. Worth every penny.

Pretty good tool
Ok so I have not used the core drill base yet but I already owned the drill itself and for the price I was happy with the drill, now back to the base, it seems to be sturdy enough. I have used more expensive brands and again for the money, overall it's better than I personally expected. No directions in the box, and the supplied handle for holding the drill doesn't line up with any of the Drew or bolts. It's not shown in the image so it's not something I was expecting. Other than that assembly was self explanatory if you ever used one of these types of drills you will not have an issue. I would recommend if you don't use it every day and don't have a huge budget like me. I'm an electrical contractor so it's not in use every day and I would purchase it again.

For the price, I have no complaints. It ...
For the price, I have no complaints. It is a 100% functional core drill stand.Ironically mine came assembled backward.

the only thing that keeps it from a 5 star ...
the only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is the lack of assembly instructions. The handle did not seem to line up correctly and without instructions, we just made it work.
