A sturdy, well made product that does what it says.
These mousemesh covers are very well made and have a clean, polished finish. Fitting is easy using the provided screws although I would have liked the screw holes to have been a little further apart making the screws less likely to contact the already fitted air vents. If your bricks are really flat and the mortar is flush with the brick surface these fit perfectly. If your bricks are heavily textured and/or the mortar is recessed these are a little more difficult to fit as the flange round the edge of the mesh is very rigid , giving the mousemesh great strength, but very little flexibility to take up unevenness in the wall. In this case it is necessary to mortar/fill in around the edge of the mousemesh to fill in any small gaps . This flange makes the cover stand proud from the wall by about 10mm but this isn't particularly noticable when fitted.As most airbricks are fairly close to the ground, fitting these can be a bit fiddly but, once fitted it is extremely unlikely that anything will be able to enter and the quality of the cover is such that it should last indefinitely. They are quite expensive but no more so than other similar products, most of which are not made from such long lasting materials.

Solid metal vent
Installed nicely and feels solid. You can see where the rats were getting in as they chewed through the plastic vent. I placed this directly over it, and hopefully, it will keep the buggers out! The installation was a breeze, requiring only a masonry drill.If this doesn’t work, then I’ll resort to chemical warfare and rally in troops from pest control.

Excellent Quality
Having actually watched a mouse getting into my house via an air brick I decided something must be done. This vent cover is more expensive than just using mesh but if in a prominent, visible location it is much smarter. Easy to install and supplied with wall plugs and stainless steel screws.
