Offers great protection but not too bulky
When I upgraded to the Ipad 11 pro, I needed a good case and I bought this case because I had the same one for my Ipad 10.5 pro. It looks great and has good features. It's simple to install it on the ipad and take it off. One reason I bought the case like this for my Ipad pro 10.5 is that it had a Apple pencil holder that was secure. This one also has a spot for the pencil, which I use, that is also secure, but yet is still simple to retrieve the pencil for use and slick and easy to put the pencil back. One feature that both cases had is small holes in the back of the case for a strap or lanyard. I have not been able to find one sold separately by UAG, but I believe they sell it with other cases like the one for the Surface Pro. I tried out another case that I found on amazon that came with the strap and i installed it on this case. You can see the strap in the pictures. I use my Ipad for viewing plans and creating field reports on the jobsite and I feel this case offers good protection and features. One reason I bought and use this case rather than others is that it has a screen cover. The only downside to this one compared with the case for the Ipad 10.5 Pro is that the screen cover is not removable. The UAG case for the Ipad 10.5 Pro was compatible with the Apple keyboard for that device and I really liked it. You could pull off the screen cover and snap on the keyboard. The Ipad 11 Pro case is not compatible with the Apple keyboard because the design and connection hardware on this keyboard is in a different location. I really don't like that Apple did that. To use the keyboard I have to remove the Ipad from the case and snap it on the keyboard. I would hate it worse except this UAG case comes off fairly easy. I think this UAG case is a great product. I do wish that they would find a way to offer a case that is compatible with the Apple keyboard, but I understand that it would be a difficult case to design. 5 stars easy to hold (the texture and material is grippy), 5 stars on durability, but only 4 stars on versatility because it's not compatible with the Apple Keyboard Folio.

Fit my old series iPad
Replaced the same style cover I had for years. Didn’t know they still had them.

Decent for the price, has a couple flaws
Pros:- Works well for the price (around $15 including tax at time of purchase)- Sturdy and protective without being extremely bulky- Strong magnet- Bright red color as pictured, not dull-looking in personCons:- Very difficult to install. The rigidity of this case makes it hard to actually get the iPad inside the case. Also had to cut the corners of my paper texture screen protector to get it to fit.- Difficult to plug it in to charge it. The area around the charging port is stiff and a tight fit, so I end up having to pull up that part of the case to get my average sized charger to fit. Doing so has become easier over time, but at first it was strenuous.- Definitely on the heavier side, as far as iPad cases are concerned.- Color has scuffed off in some places after around 4 months of use.

Worth every penny
I couldn't believe it when I saw the price on this case. I thought it had to be some bait and switch, lol. I ordered it, took a chance and figured if it came in not up to par I would return it. But, it is exactly as pictured and as described. A great find for me! It protects the iPad and went on easy and sits in the lap with ease. Definite a great buy. Not disappointed.

Solid product
I tried different cases and actually returned them all for one reason or another. I finally got tired of trying different cases and went with this tried and true product. I basically wore out my old cover and ended up replacing with the same type. The only thing I wish it had was a more secure pen holder. The pen clips into a slot but doesn’t “lock” in, so I’ve almost lost the pen on my travels. That’s the only flaw I’ve encountered thoigh.

Durable, tight fit, doesn't like screen protectors
Basically the title. Slapped this thing on my iPad pro because the folio case I'd been using for years was getting pretty worn, plus that folio case offered zero protection. I'm not a fan of UAG's style, it's looks like if monster energy was an iPad case. Just not my aesthetic. Still this case does exactly what I wanted, adding much needed rigidity to the iPad pro. It feels more durable now with this case on, though it has pulled up the edges of my screen protector. If you use a screen protector, get one that doesn't cover edge to edge and you should be alright. When used as a stand the cover doesn't slot very firmly into the front cover ... in either orientation. It's fine, but I wouldn't trust this with kids or pets around, it's definitely going to fold in on itself. It's super uncomfortable to read or hold your iPad in portrait orientation. I read a lot of comics and it's just not a great experience with this case. Plus the case is so tightly fitted, by design, that removing it and reinstalling it isn't convenient. In terms of protection, this is a great case. Unfortunately that protection comes at the expense of ergonomics. If you're mostly viewing media in landscape mode, you're golden. Portrait mode? That's a different story. It's just a lot of material. I kind of wish the cover was removable so I could use it as needed. I feel like that would eliminate all of my complaints. Overall it's a game of compromises. Great protection, trash ergonomics.

Does What It’s Supposed To Do…
I bought this just weeks before the pandemic hit as the second case for my iPad Pro 11” 2018. As I plan to buy this again in a few weeks as my third case, that oughta be a good indicator as to how solid a buy this has been for me. The only drawback or bad mark against this is that the inside lining started shedding rather badly about a few months ago. I chalk that up to constant use in rough conditions, and I still have the same screen protector on here from February 2020. It’s held up to some drops and bumps against the corners with relative ease. This is absolutely worth the loot. UAG scored a direct hit here.
