Works great but...
This cable works perfectly for my needs. The only drawback is that there is an indicator light that will drain any battery over time. So you can't leave it plugged in when traveling.

Great cable
We use Kondor Blie cables for both dtap power to the camera and the monitor. Works great with the blackmagic video assist 12G.

Spend a little more for this, it's worth it.
The media could not be loaded. Kondor Blue stuff is pricier, but it's made extremely well. See video for full review:

Works great! I got worried after a couple months when my light stopped working and thought, "oh great, the cord failed," but I accidentally bumped a switch somewhere that just killed the power. Learned a lesson AND know that this thing is fantastic for field work.
