Reduces static
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love this brush. Was hesitant to buy due to cost, but totally worth it. I had previously bought a goody brush that promised less static but was horrible static wise and yanked my hair. This brush is so gentle, reduces static and feels amazing on my head. Buy it if you are on the fence. I don't regret it.

Lovely brush
Excellent hairbrush, gentle on your scalp and goes thru wet or dry hair easily. The wood and carving are beautiful.

Good quality brush.
The bristles are strong and don't come out. It feels very comfortable on my scalp. I would recommend this.

Perfect scalp feel!
This is the third one of these brushes I'm buying, the first one was "stolen" by my daughter (not really, lol, she just liked it so much I gave it to her.) The second one went to my husband, who also loves it for his thinning hair as it's gentle on his scalp. This one hopefully will STAY in my drawer, haha. It's a great brush, no static, doesn't hurt the scalp or hair, glides easily through hair and over the scalp. I like it because there is no more effective way to relieve scalp itching except your fingernails, which can be hard on the follicles. Can't speak to its longevity yet, as I can't manage to keep one around long enough to find out :)

I am very happy with this brush for my long hair.
I can't speak to the durability of this brush as I've only had it a week or two. It is supposed to reduce static electricity, but I don't notice a reduction, though it could be such a small amount it wouldn't be noticeable.I like this brush a lot. It is very well made and feels good on the scalp. I have long hair and the bristles are far enough apart that it doesn't just ride on the surface. I was looking for a boar bristle brush for long hair, and this company makes one, but at $100 it was out of my budget. So I was quite happy to find this one.

Great Brush
I have fine hair and a lot of it. I've tried a couple of wooden brushes, and this is by far the best. It has straight bristles instead of a bulb at the end, so it doesn't get caught in my hair.

Scalp and hair feeling and looking more healthy!
This is a great brush! I have fine hair, and used wet or dry, this brush works great!! detangles easily leaving my hair feeling fuller. The best part is my scalp feels better; something about the wood bristles is much more gentle on the scalp than plastic or metal. This brush stops the static and the damage!

Light weight and does not pull on your hair.
Originally had an oval brush by Tek which I bought for 35 dollars. Lost it during a trip and did not feel it was worth paying such a high price tag again. Decided I needed to look for a less expensive option. I bought the desert breeze brush 3 months ago for $24. I was happy to find that it does just as well as a Tek brush. The pins are smooth and give easily to prevent tugging on the hair, which was my main concern when buying this brush. Unlike the Tek brush this brush has a creme colored cushion which I actually ended up really liking because it stays looking cleaner than the Tek brush. With the Tek brush the black cushion accentuated every little piece of lint and dead skin cells on the brush. (This doesn't mean you shouldn't cleanse your brush often, keep your brush clean to prevent from distributing all the build up in your brush back into your hair) The attention to detail on the handle of the brush I received regarding consistent wood tones, smooth wooden finish, and engraving is not the best (and is my only reason for giving it 4 star) However, I was dissapointed to see that the price is going up as price was a big selling point for me. If the price is going up then I would expect the attention to detail to be improving as well.**Update**I used this brush for 2 years, it was my go to brush. I made the mistake of leaving the brush in the car for a whole 12 hours in Texas heat. Shortly after the cushion started to break down and crack.
