Well made kite, easy to assemble. string included, all he had to do was open the package and let the fun begin.

Great kite, good value.
Cheap price, flies well. Comes with everything you need. If you have trouble flying it, try switching which rod is on top and which underneath. Easy enough to do with the short rod.

Too bright!
I was looking for classic kite for a photosession. This one seemed to be ideal, almost vintage. But in fact the orange color is too bright, even neon. Very dissapointed.(

easy flight and control
firm construction: I crashed it on the roof of the house a few times and no issues. It just takes a light breeze to be in business.

Couldn't get it to fly well and it ripped on first use in mild wind.

Impressive in person. Great kite!
This kite is great. Big and can handle some big wind. My kids really really love this thing. Looks plain in the picture, but what is missing in the picture is the extra long streamers that really changes the look. We have flown this kite several times and got a lot of attention at the park every time. Great purchase.

Difficult to fly for kids
This kite is pretty sensitive. Its not easy for kids to play with. I would recommend dollar store ones over this.

Basic Kite still the best
We have some acreage in north Texas with a breeze, so please keep this in mind, but this kite is no frills, we purchased the 12 foot tail along with it and the reel string for my five year old, what a great time, sturdy even with the wind we have here, balanced and goes pretty darn high, have fun!
