Great Series
This is an excellent series. Each part of the series covers 3 imams and the chronology of the books gives a nice understanding the course that imamah took and historical context for each imam. You also get a great sense of each Imam’s contribution to Islam and their personalities and personal struggles.

Important English Translation
This work by Mahdi Pishvayi is an important work of the summary of the lives of the twelve Shi'i Imams. Few works are similar to it: It is detailed, well-referenced and contains strong analysis covering all of the Imam's lives from birth until death. Sayyid Ali Musawi's translation is solid and accessible which is rare in today's Persian-English translated works. Twelver-Shi'is will benefit from this strong work, aiding them in their knowledge of the contributions of their divine leaders. Non-Shi'is will find a very useful work to reference and understand the twelve Imams from the perspective of Twelver-Shi'ism.

Read sample only, good so far BUT
The extensive use of (s) and (‘a) are very unnecessarily overused and I cant focus at all with them standing in front of every mention of either the prophet or the Imam. 5 stars nonetheless
