Great inexpensive replacement woofer for my old speakers
I have a pair of Radio Shack T120 tower speakers I purchased back in the ‘80s. I had replaced the 10” woofers about 20 years ago because the foam surround became so dry and brittle the foam just disintegrated. Now another 20 years later the same thing happened. This time it was easy to find a decent replacement on Amazon without breaking the bank. The original woofers had a unique frame design so the holes don’t really fit the new speakers. I bought these little metal brackets (I think they were mirror clips, too long ago to remember) and they clamp the woofer snugly. I’m quite happy with these 3-way speakers and I think they sound much more natural than a lot of more expensive speakers that you can buy today. The Goldwood woofers seem to be well made and the bass frequencies sound great and I haven’t even played them long enough to break them in. So they should sound even better after a few more hours. I’m using an old Onkyo TX-8511 receiver and the woofers should easily handle the power at the moderately high volume I usually play. I don’t hear any noise or distortion. I’ll update this review later when I’ve had a chance to really put them to the test. So far I think these woofers are a great value!

Really good for the price
Used them to replace old kenwood speakers. Sound better than the ones that were in there. Can't beat for the price. Decent bass.

Did the job.
While probably not ultimate audiophile quality, I used these to replace blown woofers in some cabinets I picked up cheap. They sound pretty good to my old ears

Very nice replacements
I bought these 2 replace my speakers in my vintage pioneer speakers, they seem heavier and better built than the ones from pioneer that I took out.

sharp and powerful bass
An audiophile friend of mine (with way too many speakers) was throwing out a set of two way Infinty sm102 speakers in really bad shape. Because I'm the type of person that would rather repair than discard I thought I'd refoam the woofers and see how they sounded. But since both woofers were way beyond repair it was actually cheaper to buy two new woofers. While i waiting for these to arrive I cleaned up the cabinets and once the speakers arrived they installed in less than five minutes.; these really are plug and play with the exception of the Infinity ring not being able to fit over the speaker surround. I hooked these up to my Marantz 2275 and I couldn't believe my ears, these speakers sounded better than my pristine Pioneer HPM 100's, yeah they're that good, so good that I did a blind ear test with 4 of my buddies and all 4 picked the 2 way Inifintys against the 4 way Pioneers. These woofers are a steal, get them!

Looks and sounds like a legit replacement
I have a vintage pair of circa 1991 Cerwin Vega L9 floor standing speakers. The surrounds finally deteriorated and one of the two ripped the cone when it separated. Torn between replacing the entire set or repairing with replacement parts until I ran across these Goldwood Sound woofers. Considering the cost and good reviews I decided to go the repair route. I'm really please with that decision. These woofers appear to be well made. The baskets are metal, power handling specs. were adequate for my application and they were a drop in fit replacement. After replacing the original CV woofers with the new Goldwood Sound woofers, I couldn't be happier. I didn't realize just how bad the original speakers had started sounding over the years. The GS woofers really delivered in all aspects and I'm happy with the purchase.
