Q: Has anyone had it last 4yrs of actual use and not sitting in the garage?

I am 2 years into mine with it being outside in direct sunlight in the Sonoran Desert.

Q: We are covering screen porch. Does it have writing on the plastic that shows?

Yes, because there is an inside and an outside to this plastic. Don't know if you can remove the writing. I used it for a gardening hoophouse and it didn't matter.

Q: Can I use this on a gray pvc frame?

Yes, but it will void the warrant and cause premature failure of film unless you paint or cover the pvc with several coats of white latex paint. If you want to put film over raw frame , ou should use wood , aluminum or galvanized steel !
