Ok, so here's the deal. This product is designed to give people on keto etc. the best alternative to sweet corn flavoring without the carbs. I purchased to make an alternative recipe to cornbread but low carb. I recieved my order today and I made my low carb recipe. The product does what it says it does. If you expect a product that tastes a 100% like sweet cornbread etc you will be disappointed. Nothing tastes like the real thing but the recipe I used the product in had undertones of sweet corn flavor that linger and give the palate, brain and smell the satisfaction of a remembered experience of past sweet corn flavor without the carbs. In order to evaluate a taste properly you need to start with a clean palate first and not expect to experience the real sweet corn experience but to expect a simulated experience because this is what this product produces. Enjoying a low carb lifestyle but craving cornbread...I found a keto recipe for mock cornbread which called for corn flavor extract. I doubled the amount of extract the recipe called for, and was not disappointed. Satisfied my craving, and took my 2nd batch to a family gathering where it was enjoyed by all. A bit pricey, but don't use very much.

This extract does taste like sweet corn, however, in actual keto corn bread it does not taste right.In my opinion, corn bread should have a flavor that is like corn meal, and this does not. I'm not sure how to use it any other way as I bought it specifically to use in my keto corn bread. It was less expensive than the product I was using, but I will go back to the other extract for making corn bread.

Trying to make corn drink. Add this to the combination and the result is perfect.

I am so pleased with the sweet corn aroma. I can hardly wait to use it in my cornbread cookie recipe.Also, if you want to take your homemade cornbread flavor up a notch, put 1 cap full in the batter. trust me, you will thank me later. may only concern, I just wish my orders could be next day delivered.

This product is horrible! It’s bitter and it ruined my cake. It tastes nothing like the McCormick butter nut flavor. Too bad McCormick no longer makes butter nut flavor.

I used this to bake a keto almond flour based cornbread substitute. This flavoring made it delicious. Next, I’m going to use this in a keto tamale pie.

The fact that it actually made my keto almond meal cornbread taste more like cornbread.
