Nice , soft and warm. Well made with tight buttons and sturdy seams. Lovely design work. Washes well and has not faded or shrank. I do wash it in cool water with Woolite and tumble dry on low to fluff. My 6’tall, 260 #, long waisted husband has a 50 “ shoulder width and the size 2XL was a perfect fit . Definitely a great purchase.

Not wool, not an Irish Aran sweater, purely cheap, thin polyester fabric.Seems like a ripoff or a scam. I’ve had Irish Aran jumpers and this is definitely not one.

I’m reading reviews that say that it’s not wool and not from Ireland. I don’t know. It looks black ( not green) . It is the most comfortable fabric. I ordered this during a cold winter night but this just feels comfortable. Is it wool? I don’t know. My other will sweeter is itchy, this is not. I love this and am interested to see if it is as warm as my itchy sweater when it is cold. It feels like cotton. So very comfortable. So worth it. I love this sweater. I’ll buy more from this company.

This says made in Ireland but is sent from China.No labels or care instructions on the garment.Says it is made of wool but the fabric feels more like acrylic of some sort.Pattern does not match what is shown on the picture.If I could, I would give it ZERO stars.

Size is smaller, than advertised, M or L (not XL). Material is not wool. No any labels included ( size? Instructions for washing, drying, cleaning? material? etc.)

Nice sweater but open weave let wind in. Expected real Aran tight weave to resist wind and rain as a fisherman’s sweater but obvious made on commercial loom with half the wool and East to snag on things. Had one my grandpa gave me with leather on elbows. This is like an coach cover. Seemed like cheap Chinese knockoff of Irish design.Does not keep me warm.Feck off this one!

I was nervous when reading the product reviews for this sweater, but was pleasantly surprised upon receipt. I'm 5'7" 190 lbs. and would consider myself semi-physically fit, thus my delight when the XL size I purchased was a perfect fit around my torso and not too long in the arms, with a perfect fit over a long sleeved shirt. The length was a bit long, as I expected given my height, but this only makes it easier for CCW. There was no odd smell as reported in other reviews, and the soft texture, stylish pattern, as well as handy pockets for stashing a pack of smokes and sturdy buttons added to my overall proper old man style ~ looks great with dress pants as well as loose fit jeans and Dr. Martens. 10/10 would buy again.

Not made in Ireland but China. Not wool. The country of origin should be known on all items. This is poor business practice. DO NOT waste your money.
