Just a cover. Not tight. If you want a tight cover, just use plastic wrap.

These lids are designed to fit and they just barely do that job. They fit well enough to ferment your dough, but when storing extra pizza in the refrigerator the lid can easily come undone. I don't blame the manufacturer. The metal warps in the oven and is never a perfect square. Plus, storing pizza in the pan can lead to rust from moisture in the pizza. So probably best to not use the pan with lid as a storage for extra pizza.

I purchased this lid to use with a LloydPans 10x14 inch Detroit-style pizza pan. The lid is lightweight but feels durable. It fits my pizza pan perfectly and is designed so pans cab stacked if desired. My only complaint with this product is its cost. The pan is worth the $8 or so in cost, but the shipping fee charged by the seller doubled the price. But if you have a 10x14 inch pan, using the lid is a lot easier and more convenient than using plastic wrap. It will also be useful to protect the nonstick interior of the pizza pan in storage.

My boyfriend loves to make detroit style pizzas. He has two of the Lloyd pans. He was using saran wrap before. and I found these and ordered and surprised him with them. We love them, now we can stack the pans and no mess and hassle of the saran wrap.

Loosely fits my Lloyds 10x14 Detroit Style pizza pan. I wish it was a little tighter fit but I guess it beats using plastic wrap. Item is reasonably priced but the shipping is a lot.It's possible it will fit differently on a different pan. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This isn’t a snug fit to the pan. It will lay on top so that’s good if all you need to do is cover the pan.
