Yes yes yes. Cleans rust off of flat stock well, beats the heck out of a die grinder. For a hundo well worth it. Small fab shop here and works great for steel prep, removes mill scale and minor dross.

Ok so far a grabbed some barn beams and the one on right I ran the machine down for about 29 seconds and the one on right is what they look like before!!! This is possibly the best device and deal I have ever gotten on Amazon!!! It was only like $99 and came with 4 of these wheels like I used here! Variable speed is great since I knew I needed to slow this to control look I was after! Worked perfect could run at about 1000rpms and worked great, with great control and so I could get what was after without wrecking it.This is nothing short of fantastic!!! It left a great surface which would be ready for only small amounts of extra sanding and it would be the nice surface which just begs for you to want to run your hand over with all the character still intact!

Used this to sand my textured wood deck. Did a nice job and brushes lasted about 20 sq ft each

The media could not be loaded. This is a welcome edition to any home metal/mechanic shop. It's not a grinder with a sanding wheel. It's not meant to do that. It's for finer resurfacing work. Used properly, it's impressive for the money. Plenty of power, adjustable rpms, big handles, easy to change drums, reliable af - what more could you ask? Just make sure you use the right drum for the job and know when to swap out for a grinder and sanding wheel. 5 stars - really good product

This was a life saver. I used it to strip paint off my bed floor, hood and fenders on my ‘73 K5 Blazer. Took the paint down quick with the coarse drum and left the metal in great shape afterward, leaving little work to do for paint prep. Definitely recommend this tool in your shop or garage for those tough jobs!

It has a Horrible handle. It twists when in use and if you tighten the bolt into the top of the tool, it will likely break or strip. They sell a shield with a handle attached to it and not the top of the tool, which gives the handle more stability. I welded a bracket from the shield to the top bolt hole and its super steady now. The wheel grit is not very aggressive, its okay. The 40 grits at Harbor Freight is better, and their tool is about as good, but theirs leaks oil from the gear box and the gearbox adds weight to the tool.

Yeah, it is an offshore clone, but it really works great!

The product is a power sander/stripper. It works as expected. It had enough power to strip the paint. It is a little heavy. I would recommend this product.
