I use phono socket covers (dummy plugs) on audio/pa mixers and active speakers so that people do not plug things in to wrong sockets. I also use dummy xlr plugs , some people don't look or think before connect leads, just plug in and try and if it works it works, (there's no laptop screen to tell you what to do)

Hold firmly in place, doesnt fall off, cats don't want to eat them, which is a plus.
