HogueHogue, Sig P220 American Grips, Pirahna G-10

Used these on a Sig Sauer P220 that I had cerakoted FDE to look like a Scorpion. They look good on the pistol. The feel is good, and they feel slightly thicker than stock. The dimpling gives me a better grip without being uncomfortable. They’re the hard polymer, not the rubbery kind.

You get what you pay for! Price is high, but so is the quality! They are made so exacting, you have to look close to see there are two grips, not just one. The color is outstanding too.👍

These are the fifth style of grips I've tried on my P220s. They are slim enough for concealed carry, are very grippy, and look great. They are less comfortable than the Hogue rubber grips I had on before, but I found that those were too bulky and sticky for concealed carry since my shirt would often hang up on them. They offer more control than the old and new style stock grips, and significantly more control than the Hogue smooth wood grips.Fair warning though, if you plan on shooting a lot of 230 grain +Ps you might start to feel a little discomfort in your palm. No problem with standard pressure rounds.

Excellent, well made grips. They fit my railed P220 perfectly. The grips feel a little slimmer than the originals and feel much better. They offer great traction that’s just slightly less aggressive than I wanted but still offer excellent traction even with wet hands. I am happy with the purchase and Amazon service is outstanding as always.

I’m not sure if I got a defective set, but I could not get them to fit underneath the decocker on my 220 Nitron. I also bought a set for my 226 MK25 and those fit perfectly. As Sig owners know, the setup on the sides of those two pistols are basically identical. I compared the OEM grips with the Hogue’s and I did notice at the section that goes under the decoxker was wider on the Hogue grip. Like I said, I may have gotten a bad set. I’ve never had that issue with any other Hogue grips. They usually fit like a glove.

Definitely a good buy, feels much better

The best thing about these grips is that they color match the tan colored Sigs. These are good grips and I am sure many people love them. A solid choice for grips but nothing I have found is as good as the Hogue G10 thin grips, so they don't cut it by comparison. Checkered grips work the best for me, and while the relief of these grips are comfortalble, they slide around in my hands just a small amount. Not a lot, but they aren't locked into my hands like the Hogue G10 grips are. A great 2nd choice for tan Sigs. Close but no cigar to the Hogues.
