Okay, count me in as one of the believers. This is a fabulous product at a terrific price point. I can't honestly speak to their durability yet, since I haven't had them for long, but I can tell you this: they are very similar to Neutrik connectors (which is a really good thing), and I had no trouble soldering them on to multiple audio snakes. Every single one tested out perfect.As always, use a variable temperature soldering iron, and set it to the lowest setting (this is just good soldering practice in general) and these connectors will work great for you.Thank you GLS Audio for giving me exactly what I've been searching for: very high quality XLR jacks at a great price.

These plugs have good reviews on Amazon, but I still wasn't 100% sure I should buy a lesser known brand. Very happy that I did. These XLR cable ends from GLS Audio are excellent! And didn't cost me a fortune!Now, time will tell how they hold up to the rigors of life on the road, but soldering them to the cable was a breeze. Disassembly and reassembly was a easy peasy! I will be purchasing more from GLS Audio when the need arises.Thank you for making a great, affordable product!

I am not a “pro” audio technician. I’m just a decent handy guy that always debugs and repairs the audio equipment at the churches we attend. I just went through a major upgrade / revamp project on our sound system, and purchased these xlr connectors (male and female) for the work. I was very pleased with the quality of the connectors. Soldering was as easy as it gets with no “meltdown” issues, and I like the way the connector assembles with the integral strain relief. Nice product at a nice price point.

It's mainly a GLS thing. There's attention to detail in anything they sell and these plugs are just one more thing. The boots are long enough to accommodate the cords/solder. They have a good weight to them. A sturdy "click". Great stuff.

As a broadcast engineer, I usually buy a more expensive brand but these connectors seem to be good quality so I decided to give them a try. So far they seem to be working fine. Time will tell how they hold up in a professional environment.
