Airhead Type IV Throwable Cushion, White

Good quality, should last a long time.

My boat lives outside in Phoenix, Arizona (with a custom fit Sunbrella cover). Here the law requires a throwable PFD. My old throwable PFD lasted about eight years and it started to emit jets of white powdered foam when pressing it. Basically the heat damaged the foam. This new PFD seems heavier and better built, but I’m not going to leave anything delicate inside the boat.

Replace some 50 year old ones that were not safe to use. This is a nice replacement. Well made and does what it is supposed to.

not the same quality as in years past but better than most found in local stores. Would buy again.

Exceeded my expectations

The cushion was purchased by mistake in the incorrect size. It does not fit the physical therapy chair.

I use it to sit on in my small boat, so it serves a dual purpose.

This is exactly, and I mean exactly, the same question that I bought at West Marine for a few dollars more. With free shipping this cushion is a better value. Buyer beware: if these are sat on for long periods or have anything sitting on them for a long. They will gradually become permanently deformed and about to have approximately a 1 or 2 season lifespan.
