Great product!
Smells great! My chickens like the smell. It is kindof expensive for the amount you get though.

It actually works!
I was skeptical at first, but desperate to try something as my chick is living in my room in a HUGE cage. Her poop smell can be atrocious at times, no matter how many times a day I clean her cage out! I tried this poultry dust & was surprised at how well it works! The only thing I don't like is that it is a little pricey for a small bag & that when my chick scratches, she kicks up the dust EVERYwhere, even though I have straw over it.

Healthy Chickens
I was looking for something to keep my chicken coop clean and free from pests as well as reducing oder.I am a new to backyard chickens anxious to do everything right. When I say this product is great I MEAN IT! Not only that but my chickens seem happier. Cleaning the coop is much easier and I don’t have to do it as often.I HIGHLY recommend this product. Just be careful when applying, wear gloves, something over your face, and protective goggles or eyewear. It’s not poisonous but very fine powder which can get into eyes and lungs causing irritation. Other than that, BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Used in the coup and for dirt baths.
As advertised. I have Guinea Fowl. I sprinkle some in the coup with the wood shavings and mix some with sand in their dirt bath locations outside their pen. They go crazy for their dust baths!

Great Everything
My first bag burst open on delivery!!! The return/replacement came quick and went smoothly. My chickens dont dirt bathe (spoiled silkies) but we'd dust them every once in awhile in this to help keep their delicate skin and feathers looking nice. They don't seem to hate it. :)

DUSTY!!!
I am not seeing this in other reviews- except a couple... so not sure WHAT I could have done that affected it, but used in the dirt of a brand new run, and in a plastic tub with bag of natural washed sand- so NOT dusty....then really made the mistake of putting a LITTLE bit in the hemp bedding under my roosts in our new coop... man!! I don't know if adding a small amount of "Saturday Lime" and sulphur reacted somehow with the product??! - don't know why it would... but I've NEVER had such a dusty coop/run... Tried to deal for quite some time as a bale of hemp is not cheap!! Tried getting it up using a scraper each day from the very bottom when I'd clean out the poop from night prior, but had to wear a daggone N95 uncomfortable mask to protect my lungs- was starting to really have problems coughing etc. working around this stuff.... and really worried about the girls! I'd clean long before they'd come back in for the night to let things settle... but..?! :-(Even just scooping thru the "bath" tub to check for any poop, it would create QUITE the dust cloud in our covered run! ? ?? Wanted to love it- really- and used SUCH a small amount as I have quite a bit left.... but ended up getting rid of the tub (as they opted for my dirt bath on the ground anyway) and cleaned out the entire coop getting rid of all that hemp- was a new brand so maybe dustier than the old one ? but you could SEE the pale color of this dust in the bottom of the bed... and around edges of sand in the tub.... NEVER did it eventually calm down no matter how much I tried to remove.??? Used to use Permethrin dust and a lot more DE- a more dark grey but also very fine dust (huge bag from TSC) - and that too was very dusty! This is gross, but I had some respiratory infections (quite a few) after getting COVID pneumonia and would even see black bits in what I'd cough up!! So just BE CAREFUL, period. Pulmonologist warned me to wear a mask whenever cleaning up after chickens, period... as evidently you can get some fungal infection but I've always kept things so clean and used Hemp with DooKashi- NEVER smelled a thing... and somehow the old stuff never caused much of a dust cloud...?!Now we have switched to sand after this clean out- got rid of ALL this and put down a little bit of the other items listed above which are supposed to be much more natural method of pest control vs. Permethrin poultry dust... We'll see about smell but won't know till the sand truly dries out... Didn't want to dog this product but I can't see anything else that would have caused such a truly scary amount of dust in the air! Haven't seen it with the other two products btw since we switched! Sorry! ;-)

Don't let it get wet...
My hens liked it until we had a crazy sideways storm that blew in. Now it's useless.
