This product takes about 1-2 weeks of REGULAR daily dosage for it to really start working. Can't believe it took me so long to try this medicine! I suffer from really bad heartburn specially at night! I love spicy food but was scared and cautious when eating anything even just a little spicy. I wasnt able to eat peppers, tomatoes, coffee amongst many other foods because if I did I knew it would be bad news all day!due to the GERD I started developing vocal nodes and were making my voice raspy, I went to and throat and neck specialist and he recommended I take Nexium.I purchased Nexium, not knowing what to expect as I have never used this type of medicine before, the only heartburn medicine i've ever taken for heartburn are TUMS and pepto, so this felt more serious lol.My first impression after receiving my Nexium was how tiny the pills were! It works great, but I dinged it one star because when I order 42 pills, a 6-week supply, it comes in 3 little bottles containing 14 pills each. And, of course, each bottle is sealed with foil and has one of those moisture absorbing things so it takes some time (not much) to open each one. The first thing I do is open all 3 bottles and consolidate 42 pills into one bottle. It's nothing more than a moderate nuisance to do that, but I do have to wonder: Why do they do that? Wouldn't it be less costly to put all 42 pills into one bottle at the outset? Those little 14-pill bottles must cost something, and packaging it that way must increase processing costs. Those costs, one way or another, are passed on to me. Irritating!

This is so easy to swallow and prevents acid reflux. It’s great to take this if you end up having to eat late and go to sleep after. It also works if you wake up with acid reflux and then take it it just takes about 15-30 minutes to start working. A life saver & a sleep saver.

Hoo boy, my ulcer was reactivated after trying to diet by eating less food. It was so bad, acid was comming into my throat and I could even taste blood! I didn't want an endoscopy so I started by taking a teaspoon of manuka honey in the morning 1 hour b4 meals and 1 mastic vitamin before bed. then I added this when it arrived in the mail.. it worked within 3 days my burning pit was better. I took the nexium along with the other things for 2 weeks. after 2 weeks I added vitamin d3 magnesium and zinc because Nexium is known to deplete those from your body. I still continue with the Mastic, manuka honey, and vitamins. I try to eat cabbage every day like cole slaw, because cabbage is healing to mucous membranes. I drink alot more water between meals to keep the acid diluted. I also take aloe daily which helps heal and soothe as well.
