Q: Where are the seeds coming from? The listing says California, but reviews mentioned the packaging says China.

Hey, this is Quin; I'm one of the growers of this seed. The short of it is that all of our seeds varieties are coming from California; these seeds specifically from Mano Farm in Ojai, California. We *were* experiencing a number of out of country counterfeit sellers hopping on our listings claiming to sell our products, but we've successfully had them removed. I'm not sure if you sourced the seeds previously via this listing, but know that last year we had a number of counterfeit sellers hopping onto our listings and claiming to sell our seeds. I've since been able to remove these sellers. If you are sourcing from us (All Good Things Organic Seeds), the following is true: 1) the seeds were grown on our farmland in Southern California; 2) the seeds are holy basil; 3) the seeds are certified organic. Q: Can these be planted indoors in zone 6?

It's doubtful. You'd need 85 degree temperatures and 6-10 hours of light per day ("full sun"). If you can replicate these conditions indoors, then yes, they'll grow. Hope this helps!

All of our Tulsi varieties are ideal for tea; it's really just a question of which flavor palette you prefer. We give a brief flavor description in the variety descriptions but you could also do more research online if you wanted to know more.
