Love This Concentrator and The Price!
I read most of the reviews on this and stared not to purchase it but I couldn't find one that I liked better. So I ordered it and hoped for the best. When I got it, it did not fit my dryer, like so many of the reviews. but my brother in law took a look at it and he reached up in it and pulled the round spring out that came with it. And now, it works perfectly!! When I slide it on, it stays on until I slide it off. I'm so glad I didn't have to send it back b/c I really liked it. Up inside the round part, there is a round spring that goes around the inside...if you reach up in there and pull it out, you will not break anything....just maybe you won't have to return it. Hope this helps!

MELTED ON LOW HEAT
I followed the instructions and tried this on a GHD air and a Chi dryer. Didn’t fit on either, kept popping off, and melted on low heat. I stopped trying when it started to melt because I didn’t want the plastic melted onto my dryer barrel.

Fits!
Knew it was tricky to get correct fit so that it would stay on. It did!

Poor construction. Unit ended up damaging the head of ...
I would not recommend getting this item -- I used it with my conair blow dryer - because this concentrator does not have the appropriate ventilation, heat builds up at the base (where it connects to the nozzle of the blow dryer). As a result, it starts the melt the surroundings of the nozzle of the blow dryer, exposing the heating elements. Also, the concentrator base has a retaining spring that allows it to expand over the nozzle of the blow dryer. I have experienced where the concentrator will pop off at times when you set the blow dryer to high. Another thing, the concentrator nozzle (the flat piece) it's somewhat screwed into the base of the concentrator. I have experienced that over time, with the constant heat, it will eventually separate. Bottom line - spend the extra $$ and buy a concentrator from the manufacturer.

Works ok, but does stay on well
When I use it on a low setting, it blows off quite often unfortunately. It can fit on any size with it being universal, but I don’t consider it truly a universal item because it does not stay on. This item slows me down when I am blow drying clients with really thick hair, but overall it does do the job.

Designer Needs to Learn Definition of Concentration
I bought this for my tiny Conair Infinity blow dryer. It fits fine, but I noticed almost no air flow through the working end. I looked closely at the unit, and the problem is the opening, which is extremely narrow. I noticed a couple of reviews that stated that it over heated; I can see that happening, because of the restricted, extremely hot air flow. I can also see something happening to my hair dryer because of this ridiculously restricted air flow. Apparently, whoever designed this concentrator nozzle, doesn't understand the concept of concentration. What I need (and I assume others need), is to take ALL of the airflow from a hairdryer, and FOCUS it in one direction. This is the definition of Concentration! If the nozzle was redesigned with "air flow focus" in mind, rather than "air flow restriction", it would be a great nozzle. The only reason it rated 2 stars for me instead of 1, is that I think I can "redesign" the nozzle myself, before it melts or damages my hair dryer. I like how it fits onto the dryer, but it's the only thing I like.

Works as expected
This fit my conair hairdryer (the orange one shown in some other reviews). I’ve had it for a while and has not come off. As others noted, it’s easier to attach if you position at a dloght angle.

Great diffuser. Stays on dryer with claw grips
I've been using the same diffuser for about 25 years. It was a Conair Euro Pro? diffuser. I liked it because it was deep set; the prongs barely protruded outside of diffuser. And, I liked the claw like grips that attached to the blow dryer. Went through many blow dryers, but my diffuser always fit. Well, it had seen better days from dryers that were too hot. Have looked for a LONG time to find one like it. But no luck.Newer ones aren't deep enough to cradle my hair(which I then twist n hold to hold curl.) I checked Amazon, was ready to stop looking and then I saw Diane's diffuser. It met all my criteria! Only difference was the color. I kept my old one just in case Diane's didn't work out. Well, threw my old one away after few days. Love Diane's diffuser. Great quality. Deep set. And the claw grips have a metal spring instead of a rubber band (like my old one.) So it won't melt causing diffuser to slide off dryer. I am very happy with it.And, it was an excellent price.
