Product in packaging may not be the same as photo due to continuous improvements to the product. This clipper runs off of a 120v outlet. If your hair clipper has a power screw, it has been adjusted for peak efficiency before leaving the factory. However, if voltage in your home is low, you may need to re adjust it. To adjust power screw, use the plastic brush, a screwdriver or a thin coin to turn power screw in a clockwise direction until the arm strikes the coil, making a noise. Then, slowly turn power screw out (counterclockwise), just until noise stops. This is the maximum power setting. Note: We test our Wahl hair clippers for men for cutting performance prior to packaging with a hygienic fiber. We do our best to clean the product to remove any testing particles, but it is possible a few may remain. They are not hair and can be simply wiped off.

great intial cut, we'll see on longevity
So far its cut my hair and done so quicker than what i was using, is quieter and easier to clean afterwards. The attachments are a plus too.

Effective but stupidly loud
Cuts hair, is inexpensive. The carrying case is a nice touch, and the generous variety of guards and set of shears were an unexpected bonus. It does pretty well at cutting hair, and doesn't overheat in the time it takes to do a trim unlike my Andis. However, it is inexcusably, insanely loud due to sympathetic vibration of the plastic housing. You can control it by holding them together, but why should you have to? It would have been trivially easy for them to add some sort of sound damping material where the edges meet to prevent it.

WAHL QUALITY - inexpensive price, quick delivery - professional kit
WAHL QUALITY. I have my own personal kit for nearly 20 years, cutting my own hair. This professional kit has EVERYTHING for doing barbering. The hand fit is perfect for cutting and maneuverability. Glad I made this second purchase - and using it for giving haircuts to the elderly in our apartment complex. Very much impressed with all of the new gadgets inside this professional kit. Works good and had a huge selection of guides
Great trimmer. It's relatively quiet and works really well. Wahl is a great brand so i expected it to be of good quity and I was not disappointed. This is for my shih tzu between grooming appointments. Most trimmers only come with a couple of trim guides. This has a BUNCH. I was able to shave down my dog quickly and easily. I usually can't find a guide the right size, but love that i have so many choices. This is electric, corded. So it has more power than the rechargeable ones.

Very beginner friendly, trust me I'm a beginner with no experience cutting hair
Finally decided to buys some real clippers, so I could save money by not going to the beauty shop as often, for my short pixie cut. These clippers worked great for me, and I'm a beginner beginner lol. The instructions explained the process perfectly.

Good value
As a whole it's a fine tool, but it does seem to heat up a bit more than I like ( I have 3 haircuts to give). Also, it's a little louder than I prefer. Overall a whole lot better than the last clippers I purchased somewhere.
