I highly doubt it. My persian fits in perfectly but Maine coon are bigger in size.

does it control litter odour

To a great extent due to its hard plastic she'll. However, I had to remove the top dome as my cat likes to squat tall holding the edge. Still if cleaned once a day, it does not retain the odour
