I love this stuff! I add it to pretty much anything I want to give a little extra heat and flavor. It’s perfect for adding a spoonful to eggs, marinades, or pretty much any dish that could use a kick. I’ve tried both the habanero and jalapeño versions, and while I like both, I definitely prefer the habanero. It has a great flavor and extra heat, which is exactly what I’m looking for. If you're a fan of bold, spicy flavors, this is a must-have!

This is a good replacement for the trader Joe's habanero crisp oil. You can taste the olive oil and the crispy delightful habanero bits. It is otherwise quite empty of spice. The level of spice varies by batch. There are past complaints about the jars not being well sealed, but as of 2025, this has been remedied. I've bought so many jars of this.

Really good and SPICY Just wish it wasn’t so pricey!

Impossible to open. After trying several tricks to open this tightly sealed jar we had to just use a knife. Not sure it’s safe to eat now after some kid pieces fell into the jar :( sad cause I waited a couple weeks to receive the item in the first place and was excited to try it.

I had never heard of these before until I saw them in a recipe they were out of the jalapeño so I got the habanero. They were crispy yet in oil. I am very pleased with this product. I can’t wait to try the jalapeño and the Serrano chilies too. I added mine to some cheese sauce. I can’t wait to add it to tuna salad salads all kinds of dishes. I love it.

Considering that I had ordered habanero, I figured it would be the hottest tasting among the jalapeño and Serrano jars you carry. This is not hot at all

I love Don Chilio Hot Habanero Salsa! The flavor is incredible, with just the right amount of heat. It’s a bit expensive, so I’d give it one star less for that, but I can’t stop eating it. Perfect for nachos, tacos, or just as a dip. I’ll definitely keep buying it, despite the price!

It was spicer than expected but I kept going back for more! Used on tacos and curry. Crunchy . I plan on trying the olive oil the jalapeños are packed in for eggs and other dishes. I would definitely buy again.
