Better than expected.
Used to replace vertical blinds on sliding glass doors. We put them inside the opening, instead of on the outside, and I think this made all the difference. Of course we still need to patch up the holes from the previous blinds, but I think they look good, and they block out 90% of light when pulled closed.

Low price and does the trick
I thought this would be a cheap way to get by on a sliding door. It installed very easy and does a good job blocking light. The top Velcro is loosely attached so be careful pulling it off and on. Works well for my purpose.

Good inexpensive panels, but slightly cumbersome.
I bought these polyester panels as a replacement for the grungy blinds that came with my house. I chose the almond color to go with my kitchen/living room area. I'm happy they look the way I imagined they would.I deducted two stars for a few reasons, the first because of hardware issues. Before I opened the box, I heard a lot of rattling around. When I opened the box I found that the plastic baggie holding the screws was cut open (it was a clean cut, like it had been cut by scissors) and the hardware was rolling around inside. When I collected everything in the box and laid them out in front of me, I saw that the longer center screw for the middle bracket was missing. That sucked because it was supposed to be the only one of its size. In its place were an extra set of three wall screws and three anchors, which were unnecessary because I ended up using the brackets already in place from my old blinds. The two mid-sized screws meant for the two end brackets were too small, also. Thankfully I was able to rummage around my garage and find screws that actually would work, also adding some washers and compatible nuts (the included nuts were just a hair too small for my screws, and wouldn't turn). The track was thankfully already assembled, and it was easy to snap in the velcro slats. The instructions aren't too clear on this, but make sure that the numbers match up and each slat has the velcro facing the same direction. Hanging the track is as easy as screwing the track into the wall brackets. I was able to do this myself, by resting the right end of the track on the far right bracket while I screwed in the left, then screwing in the right side, then attaching the middle. The panels themselves are made from polyester and feel a little cheap to the touch. They become creased if you fold them, like slightly thicker paper or canvas. As advertised, they come in very long pieces, and if you're hanging them from an average American back door, then you'll either have to hang them high or trim them down. The instructions tell you to measure each one and trim accordingly, then crimping them with the bottom slats. I chose to cut them down enough so they hang a couple inches off the floor, to avoid gathering crap from the floor and to let slivers of light in from the bottom. The crimping process is easier than it looks; just fold the panels to the length you want them, screw in the slats at the fold (making sure everything is evened up and in the same direction, of course), and trimming the excess polyester with scissors. After that all you have to do is attach the panels to the velcro slats to hang them.4 panels came with the set, but I removed one because I didn't need it to cover my back door. You can see in one of the photos what it looks like when one panel is hiding behind the other. The only other issue of note is how the panels slide back and forth. There are no wands to move the panels, so you have to slide them by hand. The bottom crimp slats also tend to twist in different directions when you're sliding, so 90% of the time you'll have to do some light untangling to get them to slide over each other neatly. On a personal taste note, they look a little too plain, and I'm thinking of adding some patterns to the panels to liven it up.These are good for your money, if you want a nondescript alternative to clackity blinds. Just remember that it takes a bit of assembly, and you may have to make a trip to the hardware store.

Customize to your own needs what more could you ask for Great item
So happy I found this you can customize to fit to your needs at a great price what more could you ask for the only thing I was not so sure I liked at first but got used to was the room darkening shade is are heavy texture almost like only the shades the rollup shades that you would buy for a window but not as cheap but I’m sure the material on not so room darkening panels is much nicer but we chose the room darkening for the area we needed and they work great we love them and as I said you get used to that type of material great item great price Great versatility

Disappointing, cheap looking & ugly!
They were absolutely awful. I couldn’t wait to take them down and return them which I did. Maybe, if they were a nice fabric they would’ve been nice but it was like having a bathroom shower liner hanging up.I definitely do NOT recommend. What I thought was fabric is like plastic. Very disappointing and very cheap looking. You claim it was easy to install, but was not. The instructions definitely were not very clear. Overall, very dis-satisfied

It honestly does not look as good as the photos
I purchased 2 of the mountain almond to accommodate the width of my sliding door. It honestly does not look as good as the photos. I expected the material to be some type of linen however it was more like really thin vinyl. From far away, it looks great. The metal rods that hold and weigh the panels down are also really thin metal. I'm sure they won't last long. I would've returned them, however they were already hung up and it would've been more of a hassle to take them down....

Lovely Easy to install & slide over.
Easy to install, slide panels over.. eautiful! Color a bit darker than expected.. Used these to transform dining room into bedroom, after having surgery, as I couldn't negotiate stairs! *Be Sure when you slide panels, to have them fall in front of each other - to avoid folding, over - causing a crease in panel.
