1. 500g of Potato Dextrose Agar Powder (PDA) with instructions

Here are some basic instructions:

1. Add 39 grams per liter of water (distilled water is preferred).

2. Bring the mixture to a boil and mix well.

3. (Recommended) Autoclave the mixture for ~30 minutes at 15psi (121°C)

4. Pour enough agar to coat the bottom of each Petri dish. 1 Liter makes about 40 to 50 plates.

5. Let the agar cool down and solidify (this takes about 1-2hrs).

6. Have fun with your mycology experiments.
