Velvet Crushed Navy Blue Upholstery Fabric by The Yard

Ordered this for reupholstering dining chairs - this fabric should work. Has a tiny bit of stretch to it. Not too thin, not too thick. Color is nice too - and the craquelures look nice too. all in all I am happy with my order. Shipped relatively fast too - came from LA warehouse.

The texture and depth of color are great, as is the strength, thickness, and complete lack of stretch. It's also a pretty wide bolt, which is sometimes a thing you question when ordering online. I wouldn't use it to make clothes - stiff and very scratchy on the back. But it was great for upholstering some chairs and matting a puzzle I was framing.

I recovered my dining room chairs and kitchen bench with this. Beautiful and holding up well. I do have to de-fur it because of my cats, but it wipes off well and it's beautiful. It was wide enough from selvage to selvage for me to do two of my chairs, that's how I got the bonus kitchen bench cover!
