Just what I needed!
I recently discovered an older radio that had been in my basement for many years for lack of a battery holder. I want to have it usable in case of emergency. I have tried to find this holder for quite some time with no luck. I was thrilled when I came across it on Amazon. If my memory is correct this one is even heftier than the original broken case that was in the radio. Great item for a real great price with very quick shipping.

Works in my metal detector
After doing some searching I found a review that had this battery holder. I have an older Whites 1265-X metal detector that had coroded contacts. Cheap and they ( 2 ) worked as they should've.

Sentry gun safe - improved design replacement
Replaced a battery pack that had 4 batteries all on one side, causing the pack to curve. The curved pack would loose connection. This design has opposing forces so it shouldn’t curve over time.

Fixed my device...
I bought a used MFJ SWR Analyzer, MFJ-249 and the battery holders were broken. These new holders fixed it, works great. A GREAT deal cheaper then OEM replacements.

good replacement
this 4 battery holder is a heavier plastic than some of the cheaper manufactured ones...tabs on the sides are good and firm to keep batteries tight in the holder
