could these be used in a a spring actuated perimeter alarm?

I also have a spring trip alarm and I normally use red. However, I am going to try the purple I don't think it will do any damage as there is an opening forth the gases to exit . But if there is a problem I will update this do you and others will know. No update, all ok

Not sure it will work in a pistol or would be safe, but this is not a bullet this cartridge has no projectile, it’s basically a blank. These cartridges have more powder than a bullet.

Are these level 5 power cartridges or level 2? 5 should be red and 2 brown (or so I thought).
