Food grade gycerin is considered safe for consumption in small amounts regulated by the FDA. It is typically used in skin moisturizers. As it pertains to the difference... Acetyl form of carnitine is typically used for improving cognitive function / anti aging / anti oxidant. The tartate form has been advertised has a supplement with fat burning effects.

Q: Can i take with low thyroid med? Also is the product gluten/soy free?

Don't take L-Carnitine if you have LOW thyroid issues (hypothyroidism). This supplement lowers thyroid hormone, or in some way thwarts it. Do some research on it for the correct science. If you have HYPER (overactive) thyroid issues, it could help. But always talk to your doctor/endocrinologist before supplementing with something like this.

Q: What is expiration date?

They don’t have one. You may see a sell / use by date and that is different for each bottle made. Of course, their will be degradation over time. With that I’m sure it takes at least 6 months for the supplement in its current form to begin that process. This estimate does account for poor storage conditions. Additionally, you don’t want to leave them sitting around for too long. The bottle doesn’t last 6 months if you take the daily recommended dose.
