This doesn't feel like real black currant
This tea doesn't smell like black currant and doesn't taste like black currant. The taste is extremely weak and not aromatic. If you've ever tried real black currant, you can feel the smell coming from your cup and it tastes rich and flavorful. That's not what this tea is about. All it gives is colored water.

Buyer beware: don't know what this is but it is not black currant leaves
Idk what this is (suspect catnip because my cats are crazy about it and it smells kind of like catnip) but I'm sure it's not black currant leaves. I grew up in USSR and spent ample amount of time around currant bushes: black currant leaves have a specific unmistakable taste and smell, and the texture, taste, and smell of this tea do not match up at all. I won't ever buy from this seller again.
