UPDATE: I've had these for a while now and I love them as much as the day I got them. I definitely think they're an improvement on the original. I've installed them twice now (because I did a separate headphone mod.) The surrounding material is more durable than the original so it holds up to the stretching required for installation.Installation tip! There are YouTube videos showing how to install... But what I did is I stretched the outer lip completely over, initially... And only after it was all the way on did I push it back so the edge slipped into the narrow gap like the original. It's good to do that as a second step because it's a lot to get right all at once.BTW, the rounded side of a guitar pick is perfect for working the material into that narrow edge gap.---I got the blue ones that match the "Professional" sticker on the side of the MDR-7506. I know looks don't matter with audio but... it looks cool. =) More importantly, though, the pads restored the full sound that I was missing when my original pads got flakey. (When the 7506 pads flake, it lets sound escape which alters bass levels, etc.)They're very comfortable and the material feels like it will last longer than the original. Very happy with them, I plan to go with Brainwavs for my other headphones when the pads are needed.

I bought my MDR-7506s at least 3 years ago and they've a lot of action, but still work perfectly fine. One day however, I noticed that my stock earpads were basically disintegrating. I ordered the turquoise ones. The color really pops since it matches the logo and they generally feel well-made. I'm writing this review after about 6 hours of testing, and my conclusion is that I wish I'd bought these sooner.Installing can be a little fiddly, but I personally didn't need a tool to push the fabric into the small gap like some others did. What I recommend is sliding one side on and pulling in the opposite direction so it slots into the gap. That should give you enough clearance to continue to pull the rest of the earpad into place.I spend a lot of time wearing my headphones, typically at least 8 hours a day due to work/play, so comfort is something I worry about. Not only do these no longer slip around on my head like they used to (I have a small head), they feel even more comfortable than the stock earpads due to the PU leather material. I also feel as though the noise cancelling is better, but that could be because these fit more firmly on my head than they used to. I'm not an audiophile, so I can't say if these make the headphones sound better, but they certainly don't sound worse. I just hope they hold up over time.

My original ear pads were flaking and these replacements feel great when I'm wearing them. I think the material will stand the test of time.

I wondered why my Sony 7506 phones were sounding so terrible. I knew the pads were worn out by the black flakes on my ears. (actually my wife noticed) I figured if I bought new pads at least they would look better so I could sell them. They are not for sale. These pads restored sound back to normal. Turns out the outer "skin" peeling away allowed air to escape through the bare foam. The bass response is back and the sound is balanced properly. These pads are comfortable and they look great - better than original if you ask me that crinkly texture is so dated. Fit is perfect and no weird plastic/chemical smell. Installation is difficult no matter what so I scored them high because the original SONY product is just as fidgety to stretch on. Noise cancellation is as expected.The 7506 is a standard myself and many (most) sound guys have been using for about 30 years. I am on my 3rd pair and have had these for over a decade. This is the 2ND time I replaced the pads.

These match the color of the label on the side of my MDR-7506 and look really great. They make them look like completely new headphones.They are thicker than the stock pads, both in padding height and viscosity, so they don't have as much give and make the band tighter, putting more pressure on your head. They haven't really "broken in" either after months of use.They're kind of a pain to put on. They just slip on / into a groove but it takes a bit to stretch them and work them on.With that said, they're still comfortable enough. I use them for hours at a time, and they look amazing. They've shown no signs of wear, which was my concern with the stock.I will buy again.

I replaced some 10 and 20 year old ear pads on my SONY MDR7506 with these. They definitely needed it. They were kind of hard to install. They are more comfortable than the stock pads ever were on those headphones. They provide a little better noise isolation as well, and seem to just generally fit better than the stock pads.

I replaced the stock pads with these. I have had them several years on my work headphones and think them excellent.They fit snugly on the ear cups. The material is some kind of durable faux leather that has stood up to daily wear and look like new. They are comfortable on the ear and have kept shape over years of use.

I wasn't sure if I would like these replacements - they are PERFECT! Easy to install and comfortable! I just gave my headphones some extended life!

All in all, very happy.Put these on my Panasonic RP-HTX7 closed-back headphones (Note: I needed to save the plastic clip-in rings from the old ones and had to make small cuts for the tabs to poke through. If planning to do the same, flip them inside-out, carefully roll them over the ring back to right-side-out, use a sharp knife, take it slow, use the old ones as templates and you should be fine).They don't feel too hot after wearing them for long stretches, which is nice. These also feel way more durable than the original pads (which were flaking after admittedly about 10 years) at the cost of a very small bit of softness due to thicker outer material. Was a little worried the backing foam might affect clarity a bit, but it hasn't been a problem.As someone who uses them for recording and editing audio and video, often for 8+ hours a day, these have made my recent life immensely better.

Inizialmente si può rimanere un pò sconcertati per la difficoltà di inserire i suddetti cuscinetti sui padiglioni della cuffia, nel mio caso una Sony Mdr 7506, per la quale questi cuscinetti di ricambio sono espressamente progettati. Mi è stato utile l'utilizzo di una carta di credito per facilitare il compito. Una volta fatto il primo, il secondo è stato leggermente più semplice. Ad ogni modo ne vale la pena. Ho resuscitato la vecchia Sony che giaceva da tempo inutilizzata in un armadio. I cuscinetti sono comodi, abbastanza isolanti dall'esterno, credo come gli originali, spero solo che durino un pò di più di quest'ultimi, che sono durati davvero poco, riducendosi a brandelli. Sono il punto debole di quella cuffia, purtroppo. Alla fine sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto di questi ricambi. Consigliati.

For for Sony wh-ch700n . It fits well . It looks so good but feels overpriced .If money is not concerned then you must consider this , no regrets .
