Q: I love this little grill so far! question: i always use charcoal, but can i used wood instead? or maybe in addition to, mixed in with the charcoal?

I have long used wood instead of charcoal in charcoal grills. It is very good for hamburgers -- fast stuff. To do chicken you need some little pieces of wood that will burn for some time -- dry 2 or 3 inch branches.

No,I have not used this inside the house under a range hood. I think this is designed to use it outside.

We have never had an issue, used it several times past 2 years. But quality could have changed since then. We love it though
