Yes - it is a dry mist. Very nice to spray first and then apply foundation.

I don't know if it is aerosol, but it is a pressurized spray bottle that sprays at any angle and continuously.

Q: how greedy is this-need something for my head and hair and don't want to look like a greesball?

Sol RX is non greasy. It is reef and swimming pool friendly. I would recommend you massage it into your scalp and be sure to let it dry. Wait about 20 min before going out into the sun. Don't forget to apply it to your ears, face and neck since you are not wearing a hat. In high humidity conditions, use a hair dryer to make sure it bonds to your skin. Respectfully, A.
