Q: How are the keys on the board when u fold it to put away will the keys scratch the tablet screen

No the keys are recessed and it has has small guards on all corners so that the keys want touch the screen. No complaints.

Q: I can't get the tablet to connect to the keyboard. It worked when I first got it but a year later it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Mine did that once, I just reset the keyboard and it connected again.
