Arrived this morning and gave it a go straight away. Can't comment on the waterproof side of things but made the leather look so much better and restored the colour. I can't remember how dark the leather was originally but from the photos you can see the difference it made. That was after one coat and about 15 minutes of applying with a cloth.

Having read the reviews on line I was keen to try out the Mink Oil and thus far I have not been disappointed. It has restored a pair of beloved Loake boots back to their original condition and now I am about to embark on using it on some leather chairs. The oil appears odourless and was soon absorbed by the dry leather to give the boots a deep and pleasing shine that is evidently not just a surface coating. The leather feels softer. Very pleased so far.

I have tried to ‘break in’ these fabulous cherry red doc martens every day for 3 weeks.......and the going has been tough, but after applying this mink oil.......24 hours later and they are different boots they are ‘broken’ soft and 100% wearable.

Very greasy and smells of beef dripping. I'd assumed the name was just a trademark but apparently its a by-product of the fur industry - fat from mink pelts rendered down. I used it on recently washed beekeping gloves - never had so many stings afterwards had to get a new pair of gloves and use the old ones for gardening.

Easy to use . I use it for my shoes , leather jackets and leather luggage. It's superb softens the leather and makes it supple. Very good product. Would recommend this to anyone . Thank you .

Didn't waterproof or soften and lasted very little time. I'd go as far as saying that there's probably no mink oil in the bottle.In my opinion, a total waste of money.

The best Mink Oil for my leather jacket! I accidentally soaped my leather jacket and it doesn't look good anymore afterwards. I tried different products to save my leather jacket, only this works the best! Thank you, ​Jobsite!
