Handy dandy book
Great little book to have about radiology. Lots of info in such a small book

good
fairly good, but in my opinion, a imagenology handbook needs a bit more resolution and size, but overall, not a bad purchase

Great even for first/second year med students!
While I am not out on clinical rotations yet, this handbook is very helpful for lecture and lecture exams. We just completed our musculoskeletal block and this came in very handy for our lecture exams that had radiographs and for standardized patients. It is compact enough to carry in your white coat and thorough enough to get you the information you need to succeed. The author clearly acknowledges that this handbook is not meant to make radiologists out of us. However, it is basic enough to prepare medical students for rotations.

Great guide
It serves as a great quick guide for getting a brief overview of the various radiology topics broken down by systems.Must have prior basic understanding of medicine and anatomy.

Not what I wanted.
Not what I wanted at all. I needed a book with positions and a place to record Technique ,not a book on theory.

Worthless
It's the wrong book. No valid pictures. Totally misleading. Completely useless.

Written by one of my school faculty, great teacher & radiologist!
Dr. Benseler is a radiologist that not only knows his specialty well, but had the gift of being able to communicate it at a basic level. This book is an excellent starting point (or refresher!) teaching you a systematic approach (such as MDPLOTS) and high yield tips by region. I'm privelaged to be learning with him in clinic tomorrow, but with this book, any medical student or resident can share in his radiologic pearls. I wish he'd write more, or an advanced skills edition. Enjoy!!!
