very small
The item is tiny and Im wary id loose it, it could have done with a bigger loop hole to fit on a keying because the one it has you can only fit a bit of cotton sewing thread through it. Item works OK and good quality.

It's USB 2.0
Wouldn't have bought it if I have realised... take blooming ages to transfer the volume of files it can store. It was cheap though, so I didn't feel too bad using it as an OS boot drive when the need arose but I can use it for the use case I had in mind (videos for the car) because of the transfer rate

Needed an older gen USB for Disco 5
Needed this for my in car entertainment for Land Rover Discovery 5 and it works perfectly. Nice and very small, exactly how I wanted it to be.

Slow and unreliable
These drives are not reliable, they are slow and only offer a two year warranty where more reliable drives offer a lifetime warranty. I have drives that are still reliable after more than ten years without fault but I am not so confident with the HP drives as the panel on the package shows that even HP don't have confidence in their drive advising you to back up your thumb drive as a precaution which is ironic considdering that, that's what you bought the drive for in the first place. If you can't trust the drive to store your backup data safely then what is the point? Personally I would advise looking for drives with a more reassuring warranty and fast speed because you won't get either with this brand.
