Perfect fit for replacement!
I had an old corroded brass one in a front steel door. Changed all my locksets to satin nickel finish and this sliding lock fit perfecly where old corroded brass one was. Screws lined up just right. Very pleased. Great looking nickel finish and would recommend highly.

THESE ARE GREAT.
if you have these on your doors instilled with very long screws, I don't see how anyone can come there the door. I have tried to get in when these are installed on your door and I found it impossible. These are the are the same locks that hotels use on there room doors. They do work.

I guess I'm supposed to guess where to drill the holes in my wooden front door? Where's the template?

Easy enough to install but instructions would have been great. Because of trim on doors the screws could have been longer
