Some Parts Could Fit Better
This installation took about an hour, and was pretty straightforward. Some of the hardware was confusing. Why was there a mix of Allen screws and hex head, when all could have been the same? Some of the vacuum fittings were difficult to reassemble due to odd angles. One of the clamps for the new crankcase ventilation hose was too small, and had to be replaced. Finally, the new fresh air intake rigid hose does not fit well with the original factory fresh air fitting. It is too short, meets at an odd angle, and does not duplicate the molded lug pattern of the original, which makes positive locking contact. I had to use zip ties to keep everything from pulling apart. A little more attention to engineering detail would have been appreciated. Not up to the usual K&N standard. As far as driving the car, I definitely noticed a difference, particularly in Sport mode. Getting consistent 18 psi boost up to redline, when it used to run out of breath before, and hover around 15-16 psi. Definitely a nice improvement to an already fun car.

Warning
It did not specify what year the intake was made for. I bought this hoping that this would fit my 2015 but when opened the box, I noticed the instructions said 13-14. There were three differences between the stock intake and the K&N intake.

It fit
Seems very over priced for what it is. Did it add anything to the car? It's a slight bit snappier. The exhaust is a bit more throaty.I have feeling the price was reduced just to get rid of old inventory. It says cold air intake yet the top is wide open exposing it to the engine compartment heat. It was a straight forward installation. The front cover was a bit of a pain to install the hex screws. So make sure you have everything loose fitted with screws in place before tightening it all down or you will have to loosen everything then do it that way.

You Get What You Pay For
Once tried a no name Cold Air Intake (CAI). Sounded great but it threw check engine light fairly often. Took it off. Wanted to try again now that warranty is over. This one works well and no check engine lights so far. IT does allow the turbo to spool more quickly and go deeper.
