New Ryobi One+ 18v Volt Air Strike 23 Gauge Cordless Pin Nailer P318

Works well, easy to maneuver and load. This was shipped by Midwest Tool Company and did not include the edge guide shown in the picture. Midwest replied to my complaint stating that they share the Amazon site with other sellers and one of them changed the picture to show an edge guide. Midwest regretted the mistake and refunded me 10% to make up for the error which was not their fault. They appear to be a solid and trustworthy seller.

Generally use it secure pieces during glue up so they don’t slip while clamping. Have used all recommended pin lengths without any issues. Since it is battery powered it is easier to use than my old air powered tool with its attached air hose.

I purchased the Ryobi cordless pin nailer and I am extremely impressed with it's performance. The cordless design makes it convent to use and allows for easy maneuverabilty. The nailer is lightweight and durable, making it great for both small and large projects. I always struggled with airhoses and dragging the air compressor around, this is much easier. The battery life is also impressive, lasting through multi[ple projects without needing to be recharged. Overall I highly recommend the Ryobi cordless pin nailer. It is a reliable and efficient tool that delivers excellent results.

It’s a good tool, drives well, battery life is good too.Took one star off for the safety. It’s awkward to engage while on the part, and when engaged, allows the user to shoot pins like a weapon in open air. Super easy to shoot your finger, your dog, your friend, your wife, your kids… easy to put out an eye out. Do not take this tool lightly. Use with caution.

I use a lot of Ryobi tools for my carpentry business. I finally received my Ryobi cordless P318. Everything looks really neat and very handy. I noticed the belt hook and really appreciate it but there is one thing missing and it was one of the reasons I bought the P318; for the edge guide. I paid for the edge guide and it didn't come with this one they sent to me. I don't know how to run it down but I wish the company would send me the edge guide along with the measuring guide also. It seems they do this on purpose and it really ticks me off. I could send it in and replace it but they would probably send me the same model.

Easy, fast

Very easy to use and quality tool. Drives pins into soft wood with ease, and with the ability to drive up to a 1-3/8" pin it's a great investment. Use mostly to fasten glued pieces of wood together so I don't have to go back and fill nail holes.
