Despite the product description, this stand cannot support the weight of a 34" widescreen monitor, no matter how tight you adjust the bolt. The monitor keeps tilting downward, which makes it unusable for larger screens. It’s a shame because the stand itself is well-made and works fine otherwise. If you have a smaller, lighter monitor, it should do the job, but for heavier widescreens, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
