Mack's Ear Band Swimming Headband, Blue/ Purple (Pack of 2)

Seem to work well and well made. I received two of them and they were both the same reversible colors (blue and purple). I'm not sure if that's the only colors they make or not...just what I received.Update: July 2012...ok so my 9 year old son has gone swimming a lot this summer and has gotten to use these for 2-4 times a week for a few weeks now. They keep his earplugs in place (he has to wear silicone earplugs due to tubes in his ears), so there is no worry about them falling out. I bought 2 of these thinking at the time that I'd have an extra in case they stretched out, but that has not been the case yet and we're still using the first one.

Protege bastante

I have a son who has tubes in his ears. We had another brand of headband that ended up fraying pretty bad from the little ones constant taking on and off. I loved these head bands for several reasons. First off the price is amazing especially since you get two in the package. We are able to have one that is just for bath time and another for when we do any type of swimming activity. Secondly these are just as nice if not nicer than the more expensive brand. I also like that they are reversible. I will buy these again if the need arises.

You’ll still want to wear ear plugs if you have to make sure that no water gets in the ear but it’s a great item if you want general protection.

My two year old son had tubes put in his ears at the beginning of summer and I needed something to help keep the silicone ear plugs in place. I was skeptical because this product hadn't been reviewed and was half the price of its competitor. We have been to the beach three times and in a kiddie pool a few times this summer and Macks Ear Band Swimming Headband has worked well for us. My extremely active toddler who often pulls hats off, didn't seem bothered by the headband and, more importantly, the ear plugs never once fell out. Though he does not yet swim, he did submerge his face and head a few times and the headband did its job. I really like that they come two in a pack and I keep one in the car and one at his day care for water play days.

This is a well made product, but it fits so tightly that it's uncomfortable. However, I understand the need to have it fit tight as it is intended to keep water away from your ears. And, for this intended purpose it works well. But, for me, it was just very uncomfortable to wear for any length of time.

2 to a pack for less than the Ear Band It's, definitely worth it considering I bought both products and they are the exact same. I like that it's a two pack and I can have one in the swim bag and one in the bathroom for bath time (son has tubes in his ears, and he hates water in his ears) I use these with ear putty, and I love the combination. Perfect for kids with ear tubes!

I gave it the two stars because it seems like it would work, but only 2 stars, because my daughter hated wearing them. You certainly know you have them on when wearing them, and they were a bit loose on my daughter and uncomfortably tight on me.
