Q: How do you recharge the battery?

The bath lift comes with a battery charger. The battery should last for about 20 lifts before you need to recharge it. Recharging takes a few hours (eg overnight)

Q: how easy is it to fit?

With a drill and 10mm bit get the measer ments right against the solid wall no problem, secure seat rail to wooden floorover side of bath,Good luck Charlie!

Q: We have tiles on our bathroom floor and a plastic bath side panel can it still be fitted

Yes. Get a qualified plumber to install it. The unit is attached by coach bolts to the wall, you may need shorter bolts if you have narrow breeze block. The bar that is attached to the floor is OK on tiles, concrete under mine. Side of bath not touched. Very pleased with mine. But do get a qualified plumber to install it.
