Very pleased with this as a spare bed and there is room for several small suitcases in the storage space below. Took about 3 hours to build with one false start (found I'd missed the two support bars to the pressure struts which lift the bed. Otherwise straightforward even in the very limited space I had to construct the bed and was very pleased that it actually opens and closes perfectly- read the instructions carefully for this. Many of the parts and the instructions come in a zipped up part of the headboard. Really pleased with how it looks and it provides a firm support for a decent mattress.

This bed is fabulous, it is definitely value for money. It's very sturdy after you manage to assemble it, the instructions aren't great but you can get the jist! So all in all exactly what I was looking for at an amazing price and a happy teenage daughter!

A pain to put together. Very hard to close when assembled. You have to put the mattress on and it took 2 of us to sit on it to close!Sturdy, looks good, great storage. Would buy again.

I bought this bed in April for my daughter.It's now October and the metal frame has snapped at the small welding on the corners.Can no longer use the space underneath because I can not lift the frame up or it will fall apart again. I have had to put a screw into the wooden fram sticking over the lifting part of the metal frame inside to stop it from throwing upwards. It is a dangerous product as far as I'm concerned. Want to give a minus 5 star rating but unfortunate I can not.

Easy to put together. Clear instructions. Much better than the one it replaced.

+ Bits was impressed how quick the bed arrived well before expected date. The packaging was well presented and not damaged at all.- Bits the instructions were not easy to follow bad illustration. The main disappointment was the gas struts caused us issues due to them being far to strong it took 2 of us to push the bed down and it would just pop back up. As instructions stated the weight of a mattress is enough to keep it down. Not quite true it took about 3 days of constantly pushing it down for it to decide to stay down.I fully believe for the price we paid its not better quality than the cheaper ones.

I like this bed, it wasn't too difficult to put together on my own but if you're not too confident in your strength or fitness you may want to get someone to help just in case.It feels solid and like it'll last. And looks pretty smart too.The lining thing for thr bottom wasn't possible to put on because of the velcro being all badly aligned, but that wasn't a problem as its a useless addition anyway.

Bought as a cheap spare bed for occasional use and extra storage in spare room. Good quality and easy to put together. As good as my sons very similar bed from argos that cost an extra £100
