The Bobbins I received are dated with an exp. 12/10/2029, as shown in the pictures. It is a little faint, but it is there. I like that they came in this little pill box, but I will also put them in a zip lock bag to ensure no moisture gets to the bobbins. These are nice to have in case the bobbins you have are expired and need to be replaced without having to buy a whole rearmament kit.

The ad clearly shows that a date of manufacture is printed on the bobbin. The bobbins received have in fact no date. They are appropriately keyed and sized for a Halkey-Roberts 1F-V86000 inflator. And they were not cracked. But that's it.The pillbox in which they come has an expiration date printed on it. But I bought these in Jan 2025 and the expiration on the pillbox is Nov 2027. Who knows when these were actually manufactured or when they really expire?The bobbins did not come packaged in a way to mitigate humidity during shipment. They are not individually wrapped, and the pillbox does not have a gasket. So these might have already degraded a bit during transit.The price was right, but these were a waste of time. I won't be using these. Might be okay for a day sail on a lake, but not for an offshore crossing or race.

Mine arrived in a nice box with an expiration date clearly marked on the side of each bobbin. When compared to the original, it looks the same. It's hard to say how well they work unless you jump in the water. I tend to go through one of these every few years from fishing in the rain where they break down over time. I should find out after a few seasons if they do the same. Since this is a life safety item, I am putting a lot of trust in them.It is always good to have spares, so these should come in handy. I will re-arm my vest this spring and find out.
